Option in DOS2USB |

LEFT MARGIN
This option will set the left margin in number of columns.
All the printing will shift to the right by filling the left margin with blank spaces.
The left margin can also be a negative number, as some pre-printed stationary needs this.
TOP MARGIN
This option will set the top margin in number of rows and your printing will shift to bottom at that many lines.
FONTS
You can select any font that you desire.
BASE CPI
This is the basis for the calculating your print out. By selecting 10 CPI all print
jobs will print the same as your
dot matrix print job. By selecting 12 CPI (This is the default option), all of your print
jobs will be reduced in width so that they can fit 8.27-inch wide paper.
CODE PAGE
These are the code pages for selecting the language characters for out put. This is
self-explanatory.
ADVANCE SPOOL
Uses advance mode for capturing DOS print jobs, but can't work in all systems, so leave it intact, unless we instruct to do so.

PRINTER
This button opens the printer selection box. Select your desired printer, set the
paper size as necessary. If you change any settings related to the printer, such as, Paper size, Page Layout (Landscape /
Portrait) etc then they will be changed by clicking this button. IF YOU CHANGE THE PRINTER SETTINGS FROM THE CONTROL
PANEL THEN THESE SETTINGS MAY BE NOT APPLIED WHEN USING DOS2USB. INSTEAD, USE THE PRINTER BUTTON IN DOS2USB TO CHANGE
THE PRINTER SETTINGS.
SAVE SETTING
By clicking this button all of your currently selected options will be saved and every
time you start DOS2USB these options will be restored, including the printer and its settings.
REGISTER
This will displays the About and Registration box.
EXIT
This will close your software, however it will ask for confirmation before exiting.
If you click YES then the DOS2USB utility will terminate. Otherwise it will minimize to an icon in the system tray and the
program will remain active in the background. |
